Information for prospective students

Dear Parents,
We thank you for considering us as future partners in a most important investment – the investment in your child’s education. We understand that choosing a suitable educational framework is a crucial decision. Therefore, we have included answers to some FAQs concerning the registration and admission processes.

When Does Registration Begin?

Registration for the 2018 – 2019 school year begins on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 9:00 a.m.

Where Can We Apply?

Registration for The Reali School and the RealiGan (the Reali kindergarten) will be done through an online application form in the online registration website.

How Can I Gain First Hand Impression Of The School And Its Branches?
  • Open day for the RealiGan, in Ahuza, Matos (The Carmel center) and Beit Biram,  will be held on
    Friday December 22th, 2017, between the hours of 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
  • Open day for elementary and junior high school in Ahuza, Hadar, Matos, will be held on
    Friday December 29th, 2017 between the hours of 8:00 am-12:00 pm,
    and on Friday January 5th, 2018 between the hours of 8:00 am-12:00 pm.
  • Open day for Beit Biram – high school, will be held on
    Thursday Februar 22th, 2018. The exact hours will be updated soon
  • In Reali, every day is an Open Day. Contact Admissions and Marketing Department to set a convenient time for your visit.

What is The Admission Process for the school?

The admission process for the school is divided into a few sections:
Stage 1:
You will be asked to fill in an online application form, include documents and an application fee of 300 NIS.
Applicants’ grades 2 – 10 will include report cards from previous years. Following this stage, you will receive a confirmation letter notifying you that the application has been received. The application request will be processed only after all documents have been submitted.
Stage 2:
Confirmation of documentations, and transition to the next stage where the administration will review the documents and decide whether to continue with the admissions processes, or termination of the application process.
Stage 3:
Tests and Interviews:
 Applicants applying for the RealiGan (kindergarten)- Parents will be asked to fill out a questionnaire, parents will be invited for an interview. There will be a group meeting with your child.
More detailed information will be provided upon completion of the application process.
 Applicants applying for the 1st grade- Applicants will be asked to attend an afterschool program called “First Reali Step” – this afterschool program is made up of eight meetings where children will be prepared for the first grade. During this program the applicant’s readiness for the first grade will be evaluated. The program is compulsory.

 Applicants applying for grades 2 – 6 – Applicants will be interviewed and tested on their knowledge. This test is based on a list of materials that is relevant to each age group, and will be held during the month of May. More detailed information will be provided upon completion of the application process.
 Applicants applying for grades 7-10– Applicants will undergo an interview. Additionally, applicants will undertake an administrative test that will take place at The Adam Milo Institute. The test checks their accumulative knowledge and skills. There is no need to prepare for this test! The test will be held during Purim vacation.

Stage 4:
Admissions Committee: The school’s admissions committee refers to and considers the entirety of the applicant’s data, before a decision is made. An additional factor is the number of available spots in the requested grade level and branch. As the number of applicants exceeds the available space, applicants with the highest scores and evaluations will be accepted. Once the committee has reached an agreement regarding an applicant, a letter of notification is sent to the applicant by Email.

What Is The Cost of Tuition?

Grades 1 and up
In accordance with the agreement reached with the Ministry of Education, the Reali School will become an independent school in grades 1-8, in a gradual process that will take place over the next five years.
The school will remain unofficially recognized in grades 9-12 (which will continue to be budgeted by the Ministry of Education as it has been until now). Tuition in these classes will be significantly reduced over the next two years.

  • A grade 1 – 6– The annual tuition fee is 17,500 NIS. This amount will be paid in a monthly fee of 1,458 NIS. Payment will be done in 12 installments linked to the CPI (Consumer Price Index). Tuition covers all educational activities.
  • A grade 7 – 8 – The annual tuition fee is 19,800 NIS. This amount will be paid in a monthly fee of 1,650 NIS. Payment will be done in 12 installments linked to the CPI (Consumer Price Index). Tuition covers all educational activities.
  • A grade 9 – 12 – The annual tuition fee is 13,000 NIS. This amount will be paid in a monthly fee of 1,083 NIS. Payment will be done in 12 installments linked to the CPI (Consumer Price Index). Tuition covers all educational activities.

 

RealiGan(kindergarten) – Tuition is about 3,400 NIS a month. Payment will be done in twelve installments linked to the CPI (Consumer Price Index). Tuition covers all kindergarten activities and expenses. 

Does The Reali School Have A Financial Assistance Or Discount Policy?

For the RealiGan (kindergarten):
There are only familial discounts as followed:

  • For one sibling attending the school there will be a 10% discount.
  • For twins there is a 20% discount.

For grade 1-12:

  • For families who have more than one child attending the school.
  • Personal discounts will be considered on a socio-economic basis
