The CEO and principal of the school – Ido Mazursky
Ido Mazursky has served as the General Director of the Hebrew Reali School since 2025.
He is a native of Haifa and an alumnus of the Reali School himself; married to Michal, a father of three, and a grandfather of two.
Following his graduation from the Reali School, Ido enlisted in the IDF Armored Corps, where he held a series of combat and command positions, culminating in his appointment as a brigade commander with the rank of Colonel (Aluf Mishne).
After completing his military service, Ido held senior management roles in both the private and public sectors, including CEO of Regatta Israel and CEO of Toys “R” Us. He also served for two years as Director of the Jewish Federation in the United Kingdom, which primarily invests in educational initiatives in northern Israel.
In the four years prior to his appointment as General Director of the Reali School, Ido led the Israeli branch of FIRST, an American organization represented in Israel by the Technion, dedicated to promoting science and technology education from elementary school through high school. During his tenure, he established, among other initiatives, the organization’s gap-year program.
Ido holds a degree in Educational Administration from Bar-Ilan University, is a graduate of the IDF Command and Staff College (PUM), and completed the Senior Business Management Program at Tel Aviv University.
Alongside his professional career, Ido has pursued his passion for ceramics for over two decades and owns a studio specializing in functional pottery.
